Data Centre install Specialist - START ASAP - Leading IT Co. needs you

Worldwide leader in technology seeks an experienced Data centre install Specialist to join there growing team. Initially a 12+ month contract to join this global team based in Sydney with view to extend.

The Data Centre Management Services specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Perform all activities associated with physical installation of IT Hardware and Infrastructure.
• Perform all activities associated with physical installation of Data Centre Cabling.
• Perform activities required for Data Centre Hardware & Infrastructure Changes (including raising change records).
• Assist in management of Data Centre hardware and infrastructure related problems to resolution.
• Record and track raised floor hardware inventory assets.
• Perform all activities associated with the shipping, delivery / receiving, warehousing / staging, installation and / or de-installation / disposal of raised floor hardware inventory.
• Perform audit of Data Centre Raised Floor Hardware Equipment.
• Update Data Centre Asset Management tools with Data Centre raised floor hardware equipment.
• Update Data Centre tools and databases as required.
• Assist Management and Data Centre Management Services Coordinators as required.
    
  You will have solid experience in the concepts and provision of Tivoli monitoring  management products, understanding of the ITIL principles and at least Senior experience in one the following service lines :
  
  
• Experience working in a Data Centre environment.
• Very good understanding of Data Centre Concepts.
• Very good knowledge and skills with physical installation of IT Hardware.
• Very good knowledge and skills with physical installation of Data Cabling.
• Very good knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Excellent Teaming skills.
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent Organisational Skills and Time Management.
