My client, a leading Telco organisation has exciting expansion plans in place for 2012 and beyond and is looking to hire ambitious & talented Billing/BSS/Mediation Business Analyst's to join theie team. With exciting expansion plans in place this is an exciting time to join the buisiness.
Please note this is not a hardcore technical role and candidates with aspirations to work in very technical roles (ie programming/development, DBA, infrastructure, network support etc) should not apply. This is Business/Technical Consultancy - client/customer/stakeholder facing, based around a strong understanding of a customers needs, the ability to think strategically & with a business focus when looking at software issues/implementations, the ability to understand business rules, business processes, re-engineer business processes, capture user requirements, manage stakeholders, deliver on projects, Change Management, continuous improvement etc. Candidates CV's must be able to evidence the ability to build skills in this area - i am not interested in seeing long lists of programming skills etc. This role is about being smart enough to understand software, technology & link this to the businesses my client is dealing with. In particular this is dealing with Billing, Mediation, BSS systems, Voice Switching and experience in this Telco domain is essential.
I am looking for Business Analyst's with first class communication skills, excellent documentation skills, the ability to hold workshops, elicit requirements from stakeholders and writing of functional and technical specs. You will specifically need to understand Voice Switching as you will be dealing with Voice Engineers and also taking responsibilty for the implications of any changing on the Voice side to billing, so candidates need to be able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders on the Voice side as well as being an advocate for billing so the ability to work across cross functional groups is key. Candidates with Business Analysis skills, knowledge of both Voice Switching and Billing will be perfect for the position.
Candidates must be able to work effectively to deadlines, working closely with Senior Management (Vice Presidents Etc), as well as Engineering teams (Voice Engineers etc) operate well under pressure & possess extremely high personal standards in terms of work, professionalism & ability to continually learn, improve & enjoy an environment where you will be positively challenged on a regular basis.
