As part of their growth, a new position has been made available for an experienced Solutions Program Manager to join a fantastic team and deliver brilliant results. In this role you will be managing a team of Portfolio Managers that are delivering innovative software and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• As part of the evaluation team, assess the merits of new software development proposals
• Project manage the launch of new software products, ensuring all parts of the business fulfil their commitments to meet launch timeframes and outcomes.
• Participate in the vendor evaluation process and provide input into vendor agreements, providing specific input into their capability to deliver operational support
• Insure 3rd party suppliers of software fulfil the requirements the of their service level agreement
• Provide regular communication on launch status and product performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Undertake initiatives to improve software the launch processes.
• Identify gaps in operational support for software products and implement initiatives to address those gaps

The successful candidate will have:

• 5-10 years experience in software development, product launch and customer support environments.
• Experience managing the software product development life cycle.
• Experience in developing agreements with software vendors and managing them to deliver to service levels.
• A capability to evaluate the quality of software products and the vendor support capability.
• A proven capability to implement change.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Appropriate IS or equivalent tertiary qualification.
