Technical Data Analyst (P2)

  • An initial 6 month contract
  • Based in the Perth CBD

An esteemed consultancy is currently seeking a Technical Data Analyst who has previously conducted analysis on large scale commercial projects; ideally within the resource sector. To be successful you must have an in depth understanding of data warehousing principles and Datamodelling. You will have previously utilised ERWin and SQL Queries and will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

If successful, you will be required to facilitate workshops and conduct interviews with stakeholders in order to gather information. From which you will generate data so that you may conduct data mining and modelling. In addition to this you will be required to communicate across the business and IT, foster stakeholder relationships and work with external vendors.

The following experience is essential:

  • Data Acquisition: you will have previously facilitated workshops and conducted interviews with key internal stakeholders.  
  • Requirement Gathering: you will be able to gather requirements through the analysis of Data.
  • Tools and exposure: you will have previously utilised SQL Queries and ERWin Datamodelling tool
  • Communication: you must be able to clearly communicate both written and verbally. You will be required to liaise on a regular basis with stakeholders and external vendors. In addition to this, you will need provide statusb updates to Project managers.
  • Resources sector experience would be highly regarded but is not essential
