Project Lead/Program Controller (Q7)

Our customer, a leading consulting firm based in the Brisbane CBD is seeking an experienced Project Lead/Program Controller with a background in the Mining Sector.

This 12 month contract role will provide ongoing support to the Program Manager who is based onsite with the customer.  You will be required to develop and maintain project schedules, track projects, identify risks, produce project documentation, resource plan and be involed in budget control.

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills and experience:

• A background working on projects within the resources (mining or gas) sector.
• 4 -6 years project lead/project management experience.
• Ability to engage well with key customer stakeholders and internal project team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking experience - ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Have good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills.
• Be self motivated, proactive, organised and have good attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet assigned deadlines.
• Some remote onsite travel may be required.
• Sound knowledge or leading project methodologies.  Certification will be highly regarded.
