Senior Microsoft UC Specialist - Lync/OCS

An exciting role where you will be responsible for the design & deployment of Unified Communication solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete design and deployment of solutions for customers within budget;
• Work with project managers to develop technical implementation plans that deliver financially successful projects;
• Provide support to sales teams in the winning of new business and the protection of existing business by involvement in client proposals, presentations and the provision of expert advice;
• Providing guidance and training to less experienced, or specialised consultants, or implementation and support engineers.
• Engage team in collaborative problem solving to develop plans or resolve issues;
• Promote and drive a passionate customer focused culture;

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major,
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Lync 2010, Windows 2008 Server or Exchange 2007 etc

Required skills:

• Minimum 5-7 years. of deep Microsoft infrastructure and configuration/installation experience with Exchange, Office Communications Server/Lync, and Active Directory
• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and OCS/Lync 2007/2010 integration and a thorough understanding of issues related to implementing Active Directory and Lync on large, distributed networks.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008, SQL Server2005/2008, and IIS.
• Knowledge of enterprise voice deployments with integration into existing PBX infrastructure (Avaya/Nortel/Alcatel).
• Extensive knowledge of SIP routing with familiarity in integrating with Cisco video endpoints (Tandberg)
• Strong project management experience specifically managing and completing concurrent projects.
• Large corporate and services provider client environment experience preferred ie Alphawest
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
