Storage Sales Engineer (Q7)

Our customer a leading national distributor is seeking an experienced Storage Sales Engineer to join their team in Brisbane.

This role will require you to work along side internal Account Managers and engage with key reseller partners to provide guidance on a number of leading Storage solutions.  In this role you will assist with the development of sales opportunities, provide technical guidance, assist with design work, undertake some implementation and support work as well as deliver ongoing technical training to business partners.

To be considered for this role you will require the following skills:

• Previous experience in a Pre-sales or customer facing role preferably within a Distributor, Systems Integrator or Storage Vendor.
• A proven background working with Storage products such as SAN, NAS, DAS and backup technologies.
• Experience with implementation and support of Storage technology.
• Ability to work independently.
• Be self motivated and driven.
• Good presentation skills and ability to provide training on key technologies.
• Good customer engagement skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Good time management and ability to prioritize workloads.
• Relevant Tertiary Education and industry certification highly desirable.
