The Company
My client is a Microsoft Gold Partner and true market leader in the field of Unified Communications (UC). With a raft of challenging and complex projects on the horizon they are now in a position to add a talented Senior Engineer with a passion for UC technology to the team.
The Role
Working closely with the Pre Sales and Solution Architect team you will be responsible for the successful build and design of Microsoft messaging projects. The typical projects you will be working in will range from 10 - 10000 seats and will involve Lync implementations/upgrades and Exchange migrations (Lotus Notes to Exchange, Exchange 03 to Exchange 10, Active Directory migrations etc). There may be some travel involved interstate due to project requirements so candidates must be flexible in this regard.
You will be considered one of the SME's for my Clients Infrastructure Consulting team. Ideally you will be Lync certified and looking to take your career to the next level by working for a leader in the IT Services space.
Skills & Experience
It is essential that you will have a strong background implementing Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) and Lync solutions. Also, ideally you will have a strong Microsoft Exchange & Active Directory experience and will have played a key part in numerous projects focused around this technology. Any experience with Office 365 or Pre/Post Sales experience will be highly regarded but not essential as my client is renowned for training and developing their staff and will fund industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Master on Microsoft Lync Server etc.
You will have a passion for technology, excellent communication skills and be comfortable dealing with customers on a day to day basis. You must have superb consulting/communication skills and experience preparing high level technical documentation.
