Systems Engineering Manager - Permanent Opportunity

Our Client is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Manager for a permanent opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the system engineering activities are managed inline with policies;
• Lead engineering teams including technicians;
• Provide advice to other team members and staff;
• Be a contact for technical liaison with customer organisations and third party vendors;
• Prepare and participate in engineering reviews;
• Assist with tenders, quotations and similar documents; and
• Act in other positions within the engineering projects as needed.

Skills Required:

• Experience as System Engineering Manager or similar;
• Degree in Engineering or similar fields;
• Experience in management of engineering design/technical maintenance teams;
• Experience in working with the systems engineering process;
• Highly level communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• A current Government Security Clearance is required.

In order to be eligible for this position, candidates must have an active security clearance, or be eligible to obtain one; therefore candidates will need to be Australian Citizens.
