The Role:

My client is looking for an experienced SAP Basis Team Lead Consultant to strengthen the local SAP team. This is a challenging position as you will work closely with my client's major customer as part of an SAP implementation team and the work will involve a mixture of project development and support work as requirements dictate. The defined scope of work will be discussed in more detail with suitable applicants who will be initially interviewed via telephone or in person.

Required Skill Set/Background:

• A minimum of 7 years experience in the support of development of SAP ECCS & ECC6 Systems.
• A minimum of at least 3-4 years in SAP Netweaver 640 or 700
• A minimum of at least 3-4 years in SAP Portal & BW
• Very good database administration skills (eg Reorgs, performance analysis, restores)
• Knowledge in DB2 database preferred
• Knowledge in CRM, SCM & Trex an advantage
• Strong skills in Unix & Windows operating systems
• Experience with SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, SAP system copies, TMS system.
• Mining industry experience a plus, involvement in at least 2 full life cycle implementations or support multiple customers
• Experience in leading a team of SAP Basis consultants
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Strong analytical and judgement skills
• Ability to work with non SAP products an advantage
