Account Manager - Successful IT integrator

Our client has been established for over 10 years in the delivery of IT&T infrastructure and managed and professional services to mid-sized businesses from 50 - 500 seats as well as some larger Corporations and has a presence across Sydney and Melbourne. Typical projects include the provision of LAN and WAN infrastructure such as server, desktop, virtualisation, storage, hosting / co-location up to and including cloud based IaaS infrastructure as a service.

They are a heavily engineering focussed organisation and their growth has significantly occurred from word of mouth referral based upon satisfied client base and successful project delivery.

Subsequently we are looking for an Account Manager, who has a great customer ethic, a can do put the customer first attitude with drive, initiative and follow up and roll up your sleeves mentality.

We are also looking for someone who can build great customer relationships, someone who can build the customers confidence to actually grow their business with additional services as those contracts mature as well as continue to refer other colleagues and businesses.

To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate a structured approach to Account development

  • Foremost an interactive personality, able to build client rapport quickly.
  • A can do attitude, willing to roll up your sleeves where necessary.
  • A reasonable understanding of technology across a broad range of infrastructure solutions.
  • An analytical approach to understanding and segmenting the existing customer base and planning the introduction of new services.
  • Sales qualification experience and funnel management with a focus on short to mid-term opportunity development.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A demonstrated ability to sell from a transactional level both products and services up to concept and solution selling of managed services up to and including full technology outsourcing.
