My Client is a market leading global media agency that has enjoyed strong growth over the past few years. They have are constantly upgrading and implementing new technologies and now require a new Systems Administrator to join the team.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the entire IT network and Infrastructure environment ensuring all network and systems are robust, secure, scalable and performing to their optimum. The work will be a mixture of Business as usual and project work where you will be part of the team that is responsible for all the maintenance, support and management of the data and telecommunication infrastructure.
You will be working in brand new, light and airy open plan offices that fosters a friendly and sociable team environment. The brand new data centre is a joy to work in and the place where you can get your hand's dirty with "best of breed" enterprise technology.
Skills & ExperienceIn terms of experience I am looking for someone with 3-5 years experience in:
- Windows (Active Directory/Exchange 2003/Windows 2000/2003)
- Citrix XenServer/XenApp/XenDesktop
- Cisco Networking (Routing/Switching)
- Symantec Products (Altiris, Bolt, etc...)
- SQL Database Administration
- VMware ESX or vSphere
Any experience in Websense, Aruba Wireless, BCC and Microsoft SCOM will be highly regarded but not essential to be successful in this role as my client is renowned for training and developing its staff.
You will be a motivated individual who is driven and not afraid to put in the hard work. My Client prides themselves on always migrating to/implementing the latest technologies and I'm looking for a go getter who has a thirst for knowledge.
There may be an element of inter state travel when working on projects but this role will be mainly based in the head office in Sydney.
