Our client is a leading insurer and a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic insurance professional to join their busy commercial underwriting team. This is a chance to further develop your underwriting skills in commercial products and learn from experienced senior staff. Ongoing training and support will be provided and there will be excellent long-term progression opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities include:
  • Underwriting renewals and endorsements using an online quotation system as well as manually
  • Managing a high volume SME commercial portfolio
  • Maintaining a high client retention rate
  • Providing exceptional service to brokers and clients
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure best outcome
You will have:
  • Minimum of 2 years insurance experience in an underwriting role, broking experience will also be considered
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outgoing and confident personality
  • Experience with Sunrise will be highly regarded
