Project Administrator
Our client is looking for a mid-level experienced project administrator to join a team within the IT sector. Working closely with the Executive team you will be helping to define, develop and implement project templates and reporting requirements, as well as working with a team of project managers and software developers, providing project and program administrative support and guidance for the team.
Specific tasks will include:
- Preparing Management meeting report packs;
- Reporting on project status, schedules, risks and issues;
- Maintaining program schedules, financials and reports;
- Working with Technical staff and managers to define tasks and follow up status;
- Managing project document registers such as risks and issues
This is an opportunity with emphasis on helping the project and management team and implementing improvements as required so to qualify you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience as a project/program administrator in a program office following formal project management methodologies (SDLC);
- Excellent attention to detail and outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience developing and implementing project/program management templates, processes and structures;
- Experience and knowledge of project office functions and software development projects;
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Excel;
- Ability to work with and influence a variety of stakeholders, and;
- Ability to develop relationships and negotiate with a variety of personalities
