My client has an opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor roles based in Gladestone, QLD. The role will ensure the Contract Administration and staff supervision is carried out effectively in order to fulfil the requirements of the contract. This is a key role for someone who is a decisive professional with a cool head.

You will:

  • Supervise the transportation of equipment to and from and in between sites and suppliers
  • Provide efficient reporting on inventory performance and metrics
  • Coordinate and oversee of freight and logistics contracts
  • Carry out Contracts Administration function in relation to the Project
  • Ensure Health and Safety policies are adhered to
  • Maintain internal and external client relationships

You will be required to:

  • Have experience within Constructional Engineering environment
  • Read and understand logistics reports
  • Successfully organise the logistics staff roster
  • Certificate IV in Transport and Distribution preferred
  • Qualification in Health and Safety preferred
  • Demonstrated people management skills
  • Demonstrated high level competence Distribution, Warehousing and Logistics functions
  • Demonstrated Contracts Administration/ Project Management experience
  • Display sound analytical problem solving skills
