Managed Service Customer Support
Service Support
Complete scheduled maintenance as per client requests
Arrange sign off from customers on Job Sheets
Follow through and escalate problems that can't be resolved immediately
Identify potential areas or failure/risk
Perform onsite and remote service support
Identify sales opportunities and inform Account Manager
Provide advice to the customer via the account manager on strategic directions for the customer's IT environment
Build rapport with customers and end users
Maintain documentation of customers system's information
Review log and monitoring systems as scheduled
Project Work
Liaise with Account Manager/ Customer
Assist in determining requirements
Plan implementation and define activities
Perform technical/engineering work
Perform tests to show solution meets requirement
Team Supervision
Oversee and manage the completion of nominated jobs
Provide training and coaching for team members
Assist team members with problem solving
Co-ordinate scheduling of work where required
Formal Education
Degree or Diploma in Computing or Engineering
Vendor Certification, relevant Networking Certification/OS Certification
Microsoft infrastructure - MCP - MS Certified Professional
VMware - VCP -Vmware Certificed Processional
Cisco - CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
Work Experience
Extensive industry experience based on specific role requirements
Good broad general knowledge/experience within the IT industry
Previous experience in different sized organisations (beneficial)
Experience in the migration Microsoft and VMware infrastructure
