Application/Online Support Consultant (CW4)

This leading Software Development Company, requires the services of an Online Customer Support Consultant to join their exciting organization with excellent career progression and training opportunities moving forward.

Permanent position - Salary $55K -$75K (inc Super) depending on skills and experience

This role incorporates supporting a diverse and rapidly growing client base in the use of their online product offering as well as providing assistance to internal colleagues responsible for looking after each customer account.

In this role you will be responsible for:-

• Responding to inbound customer enquiries and provide support to the client base
• Maintaining constant communication with customers as to status of incidents in the defined time frames.
• Providing on-site support to customers as required and managing support requests from open to close.
• Providing specialist product support to customers through the in-depth training provided by the client.
• Managing product issues, enhancement and upgrade requests.

You will require the following skill set:-

• MS Office (Access, Excel, Advanced MS Word, Outlook) exposure
• Degree qualifications in an IT discipline.
• A broad awareness of Internet technologies.
• Experience with web browsers, Firewall/Proxy security issues
• Experience working in a support environment, managing technical and functional support queries

Preference will be given to those who have the following:-  Experience delivering support for web-based publishing software solutions; Understanding of HTML, CCS, XML, XSLT, SQL, Java; Knowledge of graphic formats and tools; Software installation experience (especially issues with user access etc.)
