About the role:

How would you like to be a part of a well established team of network engineers focusing on delivering solutions to meet the needs of projects in Strategic Communications Systems, Tactical Communications and Command and Control Information Systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Creating, Reviewing and recommending scheduled maintenance for technology in scope.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd level support of technology in scope.
• Diagnose and rectify hardware, operating system and file system faults.
• Implement, including testing, software and hardware upgrades as required to technology in scope..
• Monitoring of technology within scope as defined in prevailing health check procedures.

Skills and experience:

• Solid experience as a Network Engineer with strong understanding of complex network systems (Tertiary Qualifications)
• Strong knowledge of CISCO products (CCNA at a minimum, routing, Switches, security & Firewall)
• Previous experience in ITIL will be highly regarded

Special requirements:

• You must be able to obtain an Australian Security Clearance
