With over 50 years experience in the industry, this well known Australian organisation has built a reputation for excellence and quality within the fresh food market.
 
Due to strategic growth and their overriding commitment to continue delivering exceptional service levels, they are now looking to appoint an experienced and highly driven Pallet and Equipment Manager to manage their Pallet control on a National level.  Reporting directly to the GM of Strategic Planning, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing control systems and procedures to drive down costs as well as the training, coaching and development of staff in relation to inventory control, reconciliation and equipment management.
 
This integral position will suit a highly motivated and driven operations professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You will have the proven background in reviewing current procedures and recommending and implementing processes that will improve efficiencies and overall profitability for the business.  You will also be a strong people manager and change agent to ensure these processes will be implemented effectively to create consistency through all the operations.
 
To be considered for this role you will also be able to demonstrate:
 
High level of experience in pallet control systems 2IC, Portfolio and CHEPMate
Proven ability to train, develop and mentor staff
High level of administration and report writing skills
Keen eye for detail
Safety focused with a knowledge of manual handling procedures
Previous experience in managing multi site operations
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
