Our client provides import and export of goods, customs brokers, customs clearance, freight forwarding, seafreight, airfreight and logistics in and outside of Australia.
T hey now require a Transport Coordinator for their busy freight forwarding business in the Fremantle Area
Some of your duties will include:
- Booking and monitoring delivery of FCL & LCL seafreight shipments with clients and transport sub-contractors
- Monitor vessels arrivals and availability
- Monitor ICS status - barrier holds, xray and liaiise with transport regarding holds etc
- Advise and update clients on vessel arrivals, required delivery dates and Customs holds
- Daily liaison with Manager to provide update of status and bookings on clients shippings, monies paid out and invoices raised.
- Arrange for release of delivery orders, setup of EFTS with accounts section.
- Chase up AQIS directions with Quarantine as necessary.
Our client is looking ideally for someone with Inward/Outward seafreight and EDI experience
