Our client a well known food manufacturer has a need for a Quality Assurance Officer. Reporting to the QA Manager your key responsibilities will be to ensure quality testing of all finished goods, Environmetnal Swabs are taken on a routine basis and standards are being maintained on the production floor.
This is a day shift position and will suit someone with previous expereince working in Quality in the dairy industry.
It is expected that the leading applicants will have the following skills / attributes:
Sound understanding of food related quality systems. such as HACCP.
Demonstrated experience within the food industry in a manufacturing environment.
Demosntrated with general food QC tests such as Fats, Solids, Ph and acidity.
Supply customer certificates of conformance and support quality initiatives.
Good communication skills both written & verbally.
Be able to work autonomously.
Along with the aforementioned traits it expected that you will have a tertiary qualification in science or food related fields. With sound interpersonal skills and a team orientated mindset you will have no problem succeeding in this role.
