Our client is a busy southside consolidator specialising in Import and Export FAK from all corners of the globe.
The role will require a mature minded individual who can apply themselves & add value to the organisation in an Export FAK Ocean Coordinator position.
The role will encompass but not be limited to;
Knowledge of documentation, liasing with shipping lines, organising pick-ups of cargoes, edn's, pra's, invoicing, & full appreciation of the export process & most of all your ability to communicate on all levels; with managment, internal staff, external contractors & most of all your clients. You will be responsible in managing your own desk; supported by fellow team members to achieve desired outcomes. The role is responsible for the day to day events reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
To be successful you will require;
- Attention to detail
- Experience in invoicing
- Have a minimum of 1 years proven exposure within a freight forwarding environment on a local level in the capacity of export ocean freight role.
- Sound knowledge of processes & procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Essential to have FAK experience within a Wholesaler
