Customer Service Operator - Help Desk

We are seeking a computer savvy individual for a role in the computer operations division of a not-for-profit company established by the SA Hotel and Club Industry.  
  
A switched-on operator, you will enjoy problem solving and attention detail, using a specific data base designed for the company to monitor the operations of its clients.  
  
Our Client  
  
Located along the CBD fringe S/E of the city, our client is in charge of providing a safe, secure and centralised computer monitoring system for the management of electronic gaming systems in hotels and clubs within South Australia.

The Role  
  
Dealing directly with on field technicians and hoteliers, you are responsible to the Operations Manger for the routine performance of computer operation duties as directed, including the monitoring of equipment and the generation of reports.  
  
There are 6 set shifts covering 8am to midnight 7 days a week which are rotated every six weeks amongst the team. You will be required to work one in every three weekends and depending on your shift, public holidays also.  
  
Candidate Essentials   

  • Customer service experience  
  • Previous experience in accurate data entry  
  • Previous experience and technical expertise working with data bases  
  • Demonstrate problem solving techniques  
  • Excellent phone manner  
  • Attention to detail with a disciplined approach  
You will be required to multi-task during busy periods where you may be dealing with 2-3 phone calls at a time. Therefore, if you are someone who gets flustered in pressure situations - this may not be for you.  
 
Please note- The successful candidate will need to be cleared as fit and proper to work within this organisation along with a police check and finger print.
