Project Co-ordinator - International Supply Chain

Our client, a well known Australian company located in Alexandria is seeking an experienced Project Co-ordinator to join their offshore logistics team.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting and engaging with off shore logistics, international freight forwarding and customs;
- Project managing and providing end to end solutions through the use of third party suppliers;
- Managing third party providers in line with the agreed KPI's;
- Ensuring new business commercial agreements are in place;
- Capturing all issues and ensuring that they are reported and actioned accordingly;
- Providing high level of Customer Service and Managing existing Accounts;
- Carrying operational freight forwarding activities as required;
- Assisting with the importing/exporting of shipments to ensure projects are delivered on time.
To be successful you will have:
- Understanding and experience in international supply chain including freight forwarding (air and ocean), customs clearance both local and overseas, warehousing (3PL) and distribution;
- Understanding of Asian market specific to China/Hong Kong;
- Analytical problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated project management experience;
- Ability to work to KPI's;
- Team player and excellent communication skills;
- Tertiary Qualification in International Business would be highly regarded.
