Our client is an Australian privately owned organisation that specialise within Freight Forwarding and Customs. They are dedicated to their customers and as such provide logistic solutions individually tailored to the specific needs and requirements of their customers.

Currently they are looking to employ an experienced Import/Export Sea Freight operator.

Your daily duties and responsibilities will consist of but not be limited to:

• Taking and making sea freight bookings
• Job registration
• Arranging cargo collection and or delivery of empty containers
• Sending out sailing schedules
• Lodging EDN's, PRA's etc
• Issuing and preparing export documentation
• Liaising with shippers and overseas offices and or agents
• Invoicing
• Job closing
• Any other duties as set out by management

The successful applicant will possess the following key attributes to be considered for the role:

• 3-4 years experience in a similar role with a freight forwarder based in Australia
• Excellent communication skills a must both written and verbal
• Knowledge of dangerous goods procedures and documentation
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Great PC skills
